E-Learning Plan
Community Consolidated School District 146 has adopted an E-Learning Plan to provide continuity of instruction when an emergency requires the temporary closure of school buildings. E-Learning Days are used in lieu of emergency closure days and are implemented in accordance with Illinois School Code and District policy.
Under the approved plan, CCSD 146 may utilize up to two (2) E-Learning Days per school year. During an E-Learning Day, students participate in a combination of virtual check-ins and asynchronous learning activities, with teachers available during designated hours to provide instruction, support, feedback, and assistance.
The District’s E-Learning Plan outlines expectations for communication, attendance, instructional delivery, technology access, student and staff schedules, special education and related services, and non-electronic learning materials.
Families are encouraged to review the plan so they are familiar with expectations and procedures should an E-Learning Day be implemented.
